Buddha represents wisdom, compassion and enlightenment not only to Eastern cultures, but throughout the world. One of our latest commissions is a portrait of the ancient icon created from over 1,500 spools of authentic sewing thread. Each spool is just over 1-inch wide but together the colours compose complex patterns featuring shading and depth and the finished artwork spans 20 square feet all suspended from aluminum ball chains on a single track.
