This portrait is our pop-art treatment featuring one of the most iconic photos in modern American history. The famous photo of soldiers erecting the stars and stripes is wonderfully diffused by the vast arrangement of sewing thread spools so that the viewer is able to discover the image themselves by uncovering the optical illusion within. Each spool is barely over an inch wide, our creative team used well over 3,000 spools alone in this single piece. Custom colours, subject matter and sizes are available upon request.
