This custom portrait was commissioned by a client in 2015. ‘Chico’ is a 4 year-old Chihuahua and their owner sent us a variety of photos in order to reference and recreate the artwork by hand. We were tasked with giving the artwork a colourful, ‘Pop-Art’ style and feel – this portrait was created using hundreds of hand-twisted Rubik’s Cubes, as well as all of the classic cube colours. Custom colours, subject matter and sizes are available upon request.
